MANOR HOMES OF OLD SAINT ANTHONY December 2009 Happy Holidays! Welcome to Lincoln Thomson, our youngest association resident who is one month old.
Holiday decorations are welcome and encouraged. (Remember to remove fall decorations.)
Winter Has Arrived: Please put away garbage cans and recycling containers after Tuesday collection. Snow plows do not stop to move garbage cans.
Board Officers and Committee Assignments: The following are the Board officers and committee assignments for 2009/2010. All committee chairs welcome homeowner participation. Remember that if you have an urgent MHOOSA matter and are unable to reach the managers, you can contact a Board member.
Rodney Allen Schwartz, President, Chair of the Architectural Controls Committee
Mary Jo Henning, Vice President, Chair of the Communications Committee
Jeff Leyda, At Large, Chair of the Security Committee
Jonathan Andersh, Treasurer, Chair of the Finance Committee
Catherine Conzet, Secretary, Chair of the Landscape Committee
Pet Policy: Please put your new policy page in your MHOOSA Rules and Regulations Manual, Page 18.
Insurance: An information packet has been distributed to homeowners concerning changes in our blanket association policy. Homeowners are required to have an HO-6 policy that will cover the increased deductible. Units without garages or with “tuck under” garages or attached garages need to have a minimum of $6,000 Property Building insurance. Units with detached garages need to have a minimum of $12,000 Property Building insurance. All homeowners need to have a minimum of $2,000 Loss Assessment coverage.
Irrigation System: We have contracted with Advanced Irrigation to begin installation of our sprinkling system this spring. The first of three installments of $200 will be due by the end of February, with the second installment being due in the fall.
Washing Machine Hoses: MHOOSA’s plumber reminds us that it is prudent to replace your washing machine hoses at least every 7 years. Our insurance agent tells us that ruptured washing machine hoses can result in major claims.
