May 2010 #2 Sprinkler Update The wet tap into the city water main for our irrigation system has been completed. The green housing for the system essentials will be placed on a concrete pad this week. The association plans to undertake additional sprinkler system work this fall. You will be receiving an invoice for the second payment of $200 which is due September 1st. Thanks to John Merladet who funded a new Austrian Pine which is planted on the North end of the mall. Hazardous Waste Collection—June 5th 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mark your calendars! This one day only location is very convenient to Marcy-Holmes. Residential household hazardous waste (no electronics) only will be accepted. For a list of materials accepted, visit www.hennepin.us/collectionevents The event will be held at University of Minnesota, Lot C66, Como Ave. SE and 29th Ave. SE, Minneapolis. Revised Pet Policy The attached MHOOSA pet policy has been revised to conform to City Ordinances. Summer Reminders - The second crab apple tree spraying is scheduled for Thursday, May 20th.
- Turf areas will be treated with Organic Fertilizer this week.
- Lock windows, doors and shut garage doors when you are working outside or are not home.
- Hoses have been distributed. Please use them.
- The association has placed 150 bags of mulch around the complex for your use. Please help yourself.
